Lark Schroeder - clarinet & piano lessons

ABOUT ME

Lark has a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia where she studied clarinet with Dr. Theodore Jahn and piano with Dr. Margaret Strahl. While at UGA, she played with the Redcoat Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and clarinet ensembles.

Lark has been teaching private lessons since 2001.  She has been a member of the Gwinnett Community Band and currently plays and sings with the worship team at her church on Sundays. She is also the Beginning Band Director of Athens Area Home-school Band and a piano teacher at Summit Academy in Watkinsville since 2015.

Lark teaches beginning to advanced clarinet and piano and incorporates music theory into all lessons. She has a passion for music and teaching and is very patient and encouraging with all ages tailoring lessons to the individual. She is also experienced in helping students prepare for recitals, auditions, and solo festivals.

MY SCHEDULE

Lark is currently available to teach on several weekdays afternoons at Hometown Rhythms with her primary lesson day being Thursday.

Sat 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Sunday - Closed
