The Hometown Rhythms coffee shop is an extension of the music lesson studios in downtown Winder, Georgia. During music lesson hours on weekday afternoons and evenings and Saturday mornings and afternoons it offers a pleasant place for parents, students, teachers, and others from the community to relax, have a drink and a snack, and use the free wifi.
On Friday and Saturday evenings we will have a true coffeehouse atmosphere with coffee, desserts, and live music. Our live music will often feature Hometown Rhythms’ teachers and students, other local artists, and maybe a surprise every now and then.
Hometown Rhythms is proud to offer a local favorite – coffees from Jittery Joe’s roastery just down the road in Athens. Jittery Joe’s is a well-known, much-loved favorite in Georgia and across the country.
Hometown Rhythms is also proud to partner with local bakeries such as Special Kneads & Treats in Lawrenceville. Delicious cupcakes, brownies, blondies, lemon bars, biscotti, and other choices will be available.
Right now we are open in the afternoons and evenings most weekdays, Friday evening and most of the day on Saturday. We are focusing on these times right now to accommodate music lessons and to host our weekend coffeehouses. We will hopefully be able to open for more morning and midday hours in the near future as our staff schedules and resources permit. If you are hoping to get your morning coffee or have lunch with us please bear with us and we will hopefully be able to serve you during those times in the near future. For now, signup for music lessons, come in for an afternoon snack, and come after dinner on Friday and Saturday for our weekend coffeehouses.
